Callaway C7 GT3 Project is Back On
There’s nothing that gets me more excited than hearing about new racing Corvettes in development – especially when the team at Callaway is involved.
After initially being put on hold, Callaway Competition will be resuming its work on the Corvette C7 GT3, according to a Sportscar365 report. The project, which was authorized by GM last July, had to be put on a hold last year due to issues over new GT regulations, but the car has now been cleared for takeoff.
The new Callaway racing ‘Vette is expected to be ready to take to the track for testing next year with a goal of competing in 2016.
