Ok, so wheelies are cool and all, but anyone who takes drag racing moderately seriously knows it’s not desirable during your run down the strip. You want the momentum to move the car forward, not upward. Sometimes though that’s a task easier said than done, especially in Carlyle Racing’s Atomic Fusion Corvette.

When you delve into 6-second territory, you’re on some serious speed. Atomic Fusion, as you can guess, makes some serious power. In the video below, we see passes from the Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals at Maryland International Raceway. Fastest run comes with a battle against a fellow GM stablemate in the form of a Camaro. The ‘Vette did a 6.77 pass at a trap speed of 220.04 miles per hour.

We’ve reported on this impressive machine before, and each time we see something new from Carlyle, we are impressed. So take a look at the video below and see for yourself. With 2015 nearing at an end, we eagerly wait to see what this car does for 2016. Keep up the good work guys!
