Never underestimate the selling power of a one-off, especially in the world of Corvettes.

Take for example, this 1972 Motion Moray C3. After going for a mere $30,000 on eBay back in 2006, it’s now up for auction again, this time with an asking price of $600,000.

I’m betting that if Motion Performance, the popular ’60s speed shop, had any idea the ‘Vette would wind up going for this much money some 43 years later, they would’ve built a few more of these bad boys.

A true one-of-a-kind, several of the Motion Moray’s exterior components, like the clamshell hood and rear spoiler, have been handcrafted with Motion Parts kits. These components are what give the car its rare look, as highlighted in a GM Authority Report.

But the Motion Moray C3’s unique design isn’t the only thing the car has going for it. It also packs a pretty decent punch, with a stock LS5 454 that puts out 475 horsepower.
