Orders are now open for Hennessey’s twin-turbocharged C8 Corvette which is also available with 1200 BHP on tap. To generate that kind of power, the tuning house modifies the 6.2-liter LT2 V8 by installing a more robust dual-clutch transmission, forged aluminum pistons, and forged steel connecting rods.

The upgraded powerplant also receives twin-turbochargers and comes mated to a stainless steel exhaust. To better handle the additional grunt, the stock brake system was swapped for a Brembo setup.
