Valet Mode conumdrum..
What if you drive your car and need to avail yourself of the Valet service. The valet, decides to be cute because he hates Corvettes, He doesn't like your cologne, your hair color, your clothes, whatever and goes into the "Home", Valet, and sets a Valet code and locks your infotainment system tight as a drum.
You get in the car, drive away and wonder why so much stuff is "Grayed" out on the menu and your glove box won't open and the NAV door button won't work.
We're assuming GM has considered this situation and there is a work-around but that probably involves a trip to the dealer.
It has been pointed out to me by others on this forum, that you set the code each and every time you use the Valet mode. Is there any way the code can be set and stored as as a personal "PIN" and the only code that is valid?
Valets can be tricky.
