No water temp pocket gauge for Z06
Original question is here.
jcthorne asked:
The instrument cluster in the Z06 will not allow engine water temp to be displayed as a pocket gauge. It is displayed as a numeric value in the tour mode info display but not available in sport or track at all.
I understand the base model has a physical water temp gauge where the Z06 boost gauge is so the choice made some sense for the base model but would really like to be able to have water temp as a pocket gauge in sport mode in my Z06.
Any way this could be added as a software update for the instrument cluster?

PDR Pre-Record Button
Original question is here.
slickstick asked:
While the PDR is cool for the track, it would be nice if it had a street mode as well. It could be set to record constantly, and add a recording 'hotkey' to the infotainment home screen. If anything noteworthy happens on the streets, pushing the record button would instantly enter record mode, and with a configurable pre-record (ex: 30-60 seconds) would capture what happened prior to the button push.
Can this feature we added via software update? It seems very simple and straightforward to provide owners.

93 Octane Requirement for 2017
Original thread is here.
Doug McGraw asked:
Has Corvette changed the LT1 for 2017 that would necessitate the change of recommendation from 91 to 93 Octane?
Supplemental: Here in Canada we can get a 94 Octane fuel from PetroCanada (Suncor). Isn't using a higher than needed Octane fuel just as bad as using a lower than required Octane fuel if the ECM isn't programmed for it?

Why doesn't GM sell ride height adjustment bolts?
Original thread is here.
dr_gallup asked:
Currently, if you need/want new ride height adjustment bolts you have to buy complete new transverse leaf strings. Yes there is an aftermarket ride height adjustment bolt available but many like to keep their car all OE. The rubber & steel discs on the ends of the bolts seem to take a substantial set with time & use so it seems these are a wear item that needs to be replaced periodically. Does the lack of replacement ride height adjustment bolt indicate that GM thinks the springs need to be replaced on a regular basis also?

grcor asked:
Can you please tell us why you are not molding the fenders to eliminate the need for spats, protective film, and splash guards?
