Column lock
Okay Tadge, I've been trying to diagnose my issue I have a 2005 manual and it seems the only time it locks and doesn't start is on a hot day with my windows up now would that be the module is going bad or the actual mechanism in the steering column or is my battery voltage too low it seems when I get in it will say around 12 volts is the battery getting too hot? It's only happened to me twice since I've owned the car in the two times it's happened it's been on a really hot day and I've left my car for 4 or 5 hours. But I leave the doors open for 20 minutes and then it starts. Thank you
