Default Air flow through the C8's engine compartment

Are there any filters or other devices to keep road dust, etc out of the new mid-engine compartment and trunkette? It seems that it is more important to keep that area free of unwanted junk than it is with the front engine design (looks, cleaning, etc). I'm sure there needs to be some air flow for cooling even with water and oil coolers.

Nobody has answered this? OK, I don't know for a fact, but I've never seen filters for the general airflow for an engine compartment for any vehicle, mid-engine or otherwise, so I'm going to say that the C8 doesn't have one, either.

Oh, the trunk. It has weather sealing and should stay pretty dust free.

There is a gap in the rear window permanently open to the elements so the engine compartment is not sealed to the outside. No stopping dirt etc. from getting in. Just how bad it will be only time will tell.
