Anybody installed one of these in a C5? DDX7015

head unit
i actually have that head unit in my 01 s10 which has the same size radio and mounting kit as my 01 corvette
i like it touch screen controls work good but the only thing i dont like is theres no graphics display or screen saver without buying the extra processor for 5.1
overall its a good unit dvd playback is great but it can be a little hard to get use to some of the functions

have it and like it very much...the menus can be a little confusing but once you get used to it is not bad...one thing i really like is that you can burn DVD-Rs with MP3s and the deck will read them...i was going to buy some sort of removeable media but with almost 5 gb on each DVD-R I am happy...

Hey, I wanted to do the same thing, but how do you modify the center counsel top and make it look like it was not modified. I mean the orginal is 1.5 din and the 7015 is a double din. The trim bar that seporates the radio and ac controls will have to be moved 1.5". I was thinking about moving the ac down to the ash tray positon, getting rid the of ashtray. and then putting the radion above where the radio and ac were. anyone done this yet. got pics of the finnished product.
