sub amps ????
i would like to know what to look for when buying a new amp to drive two 8" or 10" subs ... watts,,, amps,,, how many channel ,,will mono type amp work?? well im in the dark on this but now changing interior so now would be the time to install some thump in the vert, not tooo much just enough , thanx, and

I would go with a 2 channel amp, or a 4 channel amp if using dual voice coil sub, which in that case I would go with JL audio, Eclipse, or Boston Acoustics, but if you don't want to spend too much, pretty much anything will work if all you want is bass and not to high of quality

mono amps usually have 'class D' power supplies that are optimized for driving subs so that would be the way to go. also mono amps are stable at two ohms to give you more options when wiring your subs.
