Bose Gold headunit
Hey, sorry if this has been answered before, I couldn't find anything in the search. It's a Bose Gold in a '96, the headunit has been a bit flakey lately. The display only works after 20 or 30 minutes, when I first turn it on it displays random things or all of the symbols. Lately the function button lights will flash every once in a while. The stereo and buttons all still work, the display just won't tell me anything useful. It makes knowing the time or cd track kind of difficult. Is this just an issue with a plug coming loose somewhere? I want to replace the whole system, I was just hoping to wait another year before I do it, so hopefully it's something easy. Thanks.

The sticky FAQ that bogus graciously made has a link to Dr.Dons in it...or you can take your head unit apart and look for bad solder joints with a ohm meter. But most people dont like to dig into thier head units. So its either Dr. Dons or surgery, or replacment. Or live with it.
