Default Stereo replacement in a C5

I was looking at crutchfeild at different decks to replace the stock deck in my C5 and it said that if I replace my stock deck I will lose my front door subs..

Is this true??? and is there a fix for this???

yea, if you like the stock system, then leave it alone.

Otherwise, replace the head unit, add a sub to the rear center compartment and upgrade the door speakers. (and bypass the bose door subs)

There are several threads re: doing this here in the audio forum.
