Z06 Stereo Revamp
Alright you stereo gurus out there. Here's my project/question. I'm replacing the entire stereo system in my 02 Z06 save the factory head unit. A sub in the rear compartment in a subthump box 6.5 two way seperates all around. A four chanel amp for the 6.5s and a sub amp for the w6. Everything will be as hidden as possible. Which is one, but not the only reason I want to stick with the factory head unit. So my question is this. What type of interface should I use to go between the factory head unit and the amps? I hear that there is a seperate processor aside from the head unit. And my concern is the built in level control that lowers Bass so as not to blow factory speakers at high volume levels. How to I get around this? Or should it even be a concern for me? Thanks in advance for all your help.

Check www.soundgate.com. They sell an interface to convert the Bose signal to pre-amp.
Any idea where you are going to mount your rear tweeters? I am trying to figure out where to mount the tweeters for my 5.25s in the rear.
