Please help me with the crossovers.

I need to set the x-over cause i get a lot of popping and buzzing from my speakers.
Here's my setup.
Front speakers are Alpine SPS-080A

Rear speakers are stockers
And I still have the bose subs with the soundgate adapter.
Can anyone help me setup the frequency, slope, and level for the highs, mids, and lows (are the blowse woofers controlled by the sub output???)
thanks.
The crossovers will not fix this problem.
You mention the various parameters of a crossover, but do you know what one really does? They set the speaker so they play only certain frequencies.
Using an xover to fix this problem is paramount to using a bandaid to fix a grenade injury.
There is a root problem here... and I am thinking it's power and ground related.
Start with, have you disconnected the adaptors? Where is the popping coming from?
What year is the vette?
Talk to me!!!!

and i have no idea of what the various components of the x-overs are. i just know that's what i can adjust on my hu.
thanks for any info/input
But you are proably clipping something or overdriving the speakers. If you need to achive that much volume I highly suggest dumping the rest of the Bose system and going with an aftermarket amp and speakers.
