Where to get ABS?
I shaved my center console to allow my Eclipse Double Din unit to fit. However, I need to build a custom trip to cover the small gap on both of the sides. I hear ABS plastic is the way to go, but I went to Home Depot and Lowe's and they don't sell it in sheets. What should I be looking for, and where do I get some?

There is a web site called www.selectproducts.com They sell ABS if you can not find a place. Do a search for plastic suppliers in your area. There should be at least a few and unless you need alot of it...it is usually sold in 4' X 8' sheets ask them if they sell scrap pieces. You could also try a local stereo shop. But I would try to find a plastics dealer first because they will cost the less and have a wide selection. The places I shop carry also sorts of different textured, thickness, and styles of ABS.

Cool, thanks guys! Checked out that selectproducts.com site.. very interesting. They had ABS plastic in different designs!
I wonder if they have ABS plastic same as the 'design' or 'texture' as our center console?

I have never seen anything like our center console. The plastic in the C5 is actually coated to give it that texture. If you want to try and match the texture I would get a spray texture from a company called SEM. I think Select sells that stuff also. But you can experiment with the SEM till you get the pattern you want. Also do it on a piece of smooth ABS.
