I have a Kicker Solobaric S10L7 sub powered by an Xtant 603 amp... couldn't be happier. There isn't a whole lot of space down in the back well (about 0.88 cu/ft or so) so you have to choose a sub wisely. I'm sure others will chime in with their personal preferences.
I am also a big fan of Orion equipment, but since they got bought out by DEI I have not been as impressed. Not to say that they are not as good as they were... I just got miffed when they stopped being "Made in the USA" like they used to be.

Hi,
There is a ton of choices out there. JL makes a sub box (with sub) for a C5. There are two Forum members, VrumVrum and Subthump, that make boxes for the C5 also. You can pick your own sub then. Just be sure about the depth of the magnet and enclosure volume.
Same goes with amps, many choices. Once you decide on the sub, buy an amp that fits the impedence and wattage of the sub.
