Default System Going In, Need Advice

After much research and loss of hair, this is what I am looking at putting in my 99 convertible this weekend
Fatmat and reflectix (almost done)
Alpine HU 9855
Alpine IPOD Interface Adaptor
MB Quart RCE 216 Reference 6.5 component speakers
JL Audio 10W3v2-D6
PPI PC450 4 Channel Amp (200 RMS)
(FOR FRONT & POSSIBLY REAR SPEAKERS)
Rockford Fosgate Punch 601s Amp 2 channel (600 RMS)
(BRIDGED FOR SUB)
Subthump Box
VrumVrum faceplate and speaker adaptors

This is where I need your advice. I don’t know how to wire these two amps. Everything I have found refers to the wiring of one amp.
What kind of wires do I need (AMP KITS?)
Do I need distribution blocks, crossovers?
Should I ditch these two amps for one bigger amp that can handle everything?
How and where do I mount the amps?
Although they are not necessary, should I use rear speakers?

The reason I have been considering going to one amp is because of space and like I said, not knowing how to wire them together.

I have done research on these issues, but I have found that it is too overwhelming for the miniscule matter that I consider my brain.

Any and all advice would be much appreciated!

i would say drop the rear speakers, for a vert they are useless and your soundstage will be improved w/o them. with that being said you can get a four chan amp and bridge chans 3&4 for the sub. Look at the jl line of amps becuase they are stable at 3 ohms bridged (which is what your sub will be when wired up). This will also solve your amp wiring question, but if you do decide on two amps then all you need is a distribution block and step up on the gauge of wire that you run to the battery.

to mount the amp you have a few options. take some silicone caulking and glue a piece of mdf wood under the carpet and then screw into that or you could get some heavy duty velcro and put the hook part on the bottom of your amp. that should hold just fine as well, and since you have a vert you dont have to worry about that flying at your head if you're in a bad accident. I mounted my amps behind the waterfall where the top goes.
