Hi everyone. Has anyone used or heard of Elemental Designs. I have been looking at the 130v.2 subwoofer and the nine.1 amp.

yes, but a previous thread of yours, you mentioned JL's 10W7. The JL is higher quality stuff. I've heard horror stories about ED's slow shipping and backorders. They also don't list much on their specs when it comes to their amps
They have a 6.5" mid that looks wicked though

The sub was recommended by someone and I had no information on them. I had never heard of them. I went online and they seem to be very popular, the 130v.2 sub that is. I still lean toward my first choice, 10W7. I know it isn't the best out there, but it is a great sub. The 130V.2 was recommended because of the stealth box I can order, it lays flush like the JL stealth.

I'd get the ED over the JL, they are a little slow when it comes to getting your order as they only make a few subs each batch, but the product is very good.

can't say anything about the amps, never seen/heard/used one.

there aren't many reviews that rate anything above the w7, it seems like it's the sub to beat. I don't know if the car reviewers are being 'greased' but it seems pretty standard across the board. though the price is really attractive compared to the w7.

I bought one of their Nine.4's about 3 months ago and they shipped it within 2 days. I'm using it to power 2 8" subs and a 6.5" component set. Works real well and is very cost effective.

Not yet, the box i built for my vette is made to hold them, however I haven't had the extra money to redo the vette's system. I have heard a few cars that had the old A's(eclipse) and new O's(civic) and they sounded great. Also the price is much better than the JL.

if you are interested i have 10 12k.2 brand new in the boxes that i need to get rid of. i would have put a post up earlier on these subs but i figured no one really used them. shoot my an e-mail if you are interested. i can get alot more if need be. p928gts1@yahoo.com. by the way i have not tried their new subs but i know he went to a different manufacture in china if that tells you anything. i know the older glassfiber flat cones were a really hard driver to beat especially for the price. any way let me know

The JL audio w7-series is a benchmark for all subs nowadays
