Default Not for a Corvette but...

so I just swapped out the radio in my GF's jetta the other week. Everything works fine, however, it appears that now the dash accent lights stay on all the time. No the gauge lights mind you, or the overhead interior lights..but the accent lights for window switches, AC buttons etc..

Any thoughts on what this could be? Bad fuse? Cross line?

Sounds like you tapped into the wrong illumination wire. German cars often use mulitple wires for illumination. Did you use a wire harness and what year Jetta?

I know that jetta depending on year doesn't have a ignition wire seperate, so there is constant power and you have to remember to turn off the unit when you turn the car off or it will drain the battery

its a 2000 Jetta. I did use a wiring harness the crtuchfield provided. I'll pull the head unit and see what i miswired. Thanks!
