im keeping the stock hu for a while so i will need a soundgate locb.2 the lowest price i can find is off the soundgate site and thats 93 bucks + shipping. has anyone upgraded there hu and have this adapter for sale?
does anyone know how much airspace is in the jl audio stealth box? my cars not here yet so i cant wire it in to listen. does this hit hard enough to drown out the radio? ive heard the 10w6 wont fit whats the reason?

don't know about the soundgate, or the 10w6, but usually with a stealth box taller subs won't fit, hence why they are stealth, you'd probably have to go with something with a little smaller, but that's my guess since I don't have one personally, you can probably call any car audio place and get dimensions on both

there is always the subthump boxes that can be made to fit a w6. he has some that aren't exactly stealth but still are very clean. if you click on my car pc link you can see a box that is similar to a subthump box.

if it wont fit its ok i still havnt recieved my car from the shipper so the 10w3 way be enough bass for my liking. i will need a stealth enclosure cause this is my dd and i have to be able to put my stuff in the back. all the ebay dealers say yes but i dont trust them either i just might have to call jl audio. sad thing is they were like 2 miles down the road from my old house and im sure i coulda seen what it can do there.

A 10w6v2 won't fit into a JL stealthbox. The magnet is too large.
I think the JL stealthbox is about .6 ft^3. Its hard to tell how much you will like the 10w3v2. It depends on several factors including your HU pre amp output, amplifier power and quality, the type of music you listen to, etc.

yea i waited on the phone with tech support for over 20 mins just to get a 1 word answer. if anything ill build my own out of fiberglass and try and keep a w6 or w7 stealth.
