Default Alternative to cd changer

Every new vette has a cd player that plays MP3's. So here is what you do. Download the program AUDIOGRABBER. This is freeware. Start converting all of your cd's into MP3's. This may take awhile. The program will allow you to convert the whole cd or just the songs that you like.I spent between four to five hours yesterday doing this. When I was done I had made 430 MP3 files. This was a total of 696 MB. Most cd's will hold 700 MB. Each file is a song so I now have 1 cd with 430 songs on it. If you can't find the program email me and I will send it to you. It is very easy to use. Most cd burning programs will make MP3's. I used NERO. Now, who still needs a cd changer? Here is the link to download the program. http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/download.html

Sounds like good info, Rick, but only C6s without nav can play MP3s. Those with nav are s*** outaluck.

That is TOO BAD. I guess the 1sx package was worth it. Less is more.

I have NAV and XM radio. Every kind of music you could want without knowing what may be played next. ;-)

That's me! Oh well!
When I put the new exhaust in I will most likely turn off the radio all together!

No Satallite radio in Europe yet! I'm still working on the upgrade to my stock Nav system. The PAC harness is on the way here and the speakers and amp set up has been installed. I wish there was a harness for the speakers so that I do not have to cut the stock harness to hook up the LC6 line level converter. Does any one have any leads on the 24 pin GM hook up for the speakers???

I've burned MP3 files and you sure get a lot of tunes on one CD. However, I'm looking for a way to order the files other than alphabetically. Any suggestions?
