Subwoofer Ohm ratings?
How much of a difference will it make getting the V2 vs V4 vs V6.
The 10W3v2 is a superb choice for high-output, high-quality sub-bass in compact enclosures. Exceptional excursion capability and highly linear motor and suspension designs combine to deliver maximum performance from moderate to high power levels. This driver works well in sealed, ported and bandpass enclosures and its dual voice coil design gives the user a high degree of application flexibility.
Nominal Diameter: 10 inches (250 mm)
Continuous Power Handling: 300 Watts
Voice Coil: 2.25" diameter, 4-layer, Kapton former
Available Configurations: Dual 2 ohm, Dual 4 ohm or Dual 6 ohm
Any help is appreciated. Keeping Bose Head Unit.

The D4 can be wired for an 8 ohm load or a 2 ohm load.
The D2 can be wired for a 4 ohm load or a 1 ohm load.
I went with the D2 for 4 ohms using an Alpine MRD-M605 amplifier.

The 10w3v2-D2 is the same subwoofer that JL Audio puts into their C5 stealthbox, so I'm confident it will do the job. However, the JL Audio enclosure was WAY too expensive for my tastes so I bought a stealth enclosure from Subthump.com to put it in. I'm going to put a plug for Steve here because the box was VERY well done, and there's no way I could have gotten the materials needed and done such a good job with them for the approx. $120 I spent on his enclosure.
The new front speakers are JL Audio XR650-CSi and the new back speakers are JL Audio VR525-CXi. I bought these from another former forum member who had to sell his C5. He also sold me some door pulls with the tweeters already mounted in them. Depending on how much I like the new rears, I also have some CDTs I may try out in back as well.
My head unit is an Alpine 9813 which I've had in my C5 for a few years now. My two new amps are Alpines as well... the mono MRD-M605 and the 4 channel MRV-F345.
My initial plan was to mount the amps on the rear wall, but even with all the research I did I never thought to check the amp dimensions. D'oh! They both won't fit so I'm going to mount them between the hump that's behind the seats and the brackets that hold the car top in place.
I'm running 6g wire to each amp for power, each protected with an 80 amp fuse. Speaker wire is 16g all around.
I found a LOT of great info here. Basic Car Audio Electronics I'm planning on ordering his CD this week.
Oh, and I layered the trunk with Fatmat, and I will be placing Fatmat in the doors as well. Depending on the results I may then also install a layer of Frost King.

Will the Alpine fit in one of the rear storage pockets with the cover closed?
