if you have a multiple amount of grounding locations, will this create a hiss/noise problem
i.e. if your amps are grounded to the frame(same spot as battery) and the battery and your radio is grounded to the front of the car (frame), is there a voltage issue....... some stated that all grounds should be in one area..... i never heard of that...... also, would there be a ground loop issue..... what is the real theory on a ground loop if any..
I've always gone by the rule of the shortest ground cable made out of the largest wire. I used 2- 0 Gauge 3' lengths that went from my grounding point on the frame of the car to the distribution block. From there I took it to the amps. Never had an issue with noise with that.
Ground all amps to the same place, either at the frame or back to the battery. I generally use the frame and upgrade the battery ground to the frame. Normally grounding your HU to an area behind the dash will not cause ground loop.

Are your amps in the back? How did you ground to the frame (routing)?
