Problem Bose Speaker

I have a ' 87 vert. and one of the rear speakers sounds like its on after turning off the car. Can I just take off speaker cover to get to a disconnect???

If your speaker functions properly, but you hear static and pops when the stereo is turned off, replace the relay. Mid America sells 'em for $16.99

the relay is a generic relay... you don't have to spend $17.00 from MAD and another $8.00 for S&H.

I just don't remember where it hides...

Guys, just got home from work and walked by the vette... The speaker sounds like its running.. Would it still be a relay? If so, where is it located?

Are you sure it's only one??? That relay power all four speakers. It's located behind the bread box. I took the dash top off to get to mine...........Another PITA job........

Not a big job to replace relay, you leave the old one in and just let the new one hang..you get to it behind the right side center dash information panel
