Default SUB Box mounting

Ok I have my sub box and I am going to place it in the center cargo section of my vert facing forward. when mounting the box do I want it to contact the body of the car or would to be better to mount it on studs and leave some air space to isolate the box from the body.

My opinion is that flush against the body will be fine as its using the air from within the box not outside of it.

My sub box drops right in the center compartment and fits right down to the bottom
