I replaced the factory HU with a Kenwood DDX8017, used the PAC module for the front speakers to keep the warning tones (doesn't really work) and OnStar (does work nicely). I installed an amp with a 10" bazoka but I'm out of room in the trunk. Can anyone recommend a configuration or fiberglass solution, i.e. sub/amp enclsure?
Lots of bass, but not so much loud, but clean and deep. I wanted to do two amps (mono and 4 channel). I was thinking about 2 10" - one in each corner with fiberglass enclosures; the amps in a box under the top. That way I can make the most of the contiguous space; I really just need to get a carry-on suitcase back there for traveling.
If you take a look in my photos I've done what you want only in a C4, but that's what I wanted is more space. I have 2 12" subwoofers in a box that is 10" deep, 12 1/2" tall, and 32" wide. Which is plenty of bass, I keep it turned WAY down unless i'm showing off. Using just one of those 12" subs the box would only need to be half that size so you can make it real flat against the back wall like 4" deep and mount your amps on either side so you can see them and it would be tons less work. Having a new C6 you might want something fancy with fiberglass and amps in a box, then check out cajundude's posts he's doing exactly want you are talking of.

So, did you decide to remove the Bazooka tube? How did it sound? Did it take away too much trunk space? Do you have any pictures?
The solution, when available, will be the Stealthbox by JL Audio. It will fit in one of the bins. It is not available for the C6 yet, but I'm waiting. I also have a convertible.
Brichc4, yes, didn't think to look at your photos - that's exactly what i'm looking for ---- PERFECT!!!! I was looking at those Pioneer's but didn't know exactly how it would help. Thanks man.
The Stealthbox is definitely the way to go. I called and they told me it would be as much as six months but they are working on it.
I had called too, about 2 mnths ago. They weren't sure at that time they were going to build it. Problem, the way I see it, is the bin is much smaller than the C5's. I wonder what kind of sub you could get in there.

no prob, the pioneers are a great choice for quality.
Yea, much smaller bin, but brichc4's idea of the back wall is a great one. You can do 1 12" one side and mount a mono or 5 channel on the other still have the storage bins on either side. Also give you a lot of contiguous space. The C6's have some room for bass in the cabin, not sure yet what will fit in there - I think, I end up doing some components.
i haven't seen any inside of the c6, but how is the room behind and underneath your seats, you can always mount your amps or components in those areas and not loose any space
