Subthump 12" C5 sub box
I have a brand new stealth (over hang, slanted version) box made by Subthump.com for one 12" sub. It fits flush in the back of a C5 similar to the JL. Tan in color. I can sell the box separate or include a 12" HX2 (RFD-1212) sub with it. The JL's are very expensive for what you get and only come in 10" versions.

I did A LOT of research before I bought this box. Money was NOT a deciding factor either. I could have went w JL or the other box by forum member Mike...
JL does not offer a 12" version and I felt the construction quality after talking to subthump was better than the one by Mike since they have a jig and make these everyday for a living. As for weight, its as light as you can get w/ MDF....its made out of 5/8 instead of 3/4 and mates perfectly to the lines of the vette trunk.
I chose a HX2 sub due to it being a DVC (dual 4 ohm coil) that is rated for a .88 sealed box volume and able to handle 500 watts RMS. Nice blend between SQ and SPL.
The only reason why I'm selling, is that my system install went from a basic sub upgrade to now spending over $2000 on components. Boy did all this get out of hand and now I have this left over!
For the people who know what they're looking at, they know this is a great deal!
