I'm sure this has been asked a zillon times, but here goes,my delco boses is tired,who makes a good slip in replacement that isnt ugly as sin, and wont make me rob a bank to pay for it? .....joe

I have been wrestling with this question for the stock POS in my '85 for a few weeks, now. Unless you're willing to pay a small fortune for a rebuilt unit from a place like Mid America Motorworks, I think we're at the mercy of Best Buy or Ultimate Electronics. Right now, I am leaning towards a decent aftermarket, just because of the features available.

seriosuly best bet is just a new deck and some decent coaxial speakers it will sound 100X better then bose... check out this post http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...92&forum_id=20 and ask questions everyone will help
