Any experience w/Bose CD Err Code
'92 Coupe, Stock Bose AM/FM/Cassette/CD Audio system. The CD portion will accept CD's, but immediately ejects them and provides a ERR message on the faceplate. Is there a simple fix for this problem?
TIA

I purchased a CD cleaner but my problem persists. Actually the CD Cleaner is also immediately rejected with the accompanying ERR code.
So, if I go to the local audio shop with the vehicle, what do I tell the service rep needs to be looked at?
Again, TIA

don't even bother... take it out and send it to one of the recommended repair centers.
There is a link in the C4 Audio FAQ on how to R&R the head unit in a 1990-1996 Vette.

I saw were you tell how to R&R a cassette, but not the CD. Is the only option DR. Don or someone like them?
