I got an email from pioneer about some new stuff comming out.
Driving Made Easier
Three new in-car navigation systems will hit store shelves this spring, just in time for those spring break and summer road trips! The top-of-the-line AVIC-Z1 offers more features and greater connectivity than ever before. The AVIC-Z1 will help you get to your final destination faster and more easily than ever with its smart routing algorithm, easy voice commands, specific lane information and detailed city maps. Make the most of the built-in hard disc drive to store tunes in the AVIC-Z1 music jukebox. Another first is Bluetooth® connectivity for use with Bluetooth enabled cell phones. These features and more help put the fun back into driving. Check out all of Pioneer's navigation systems.
Also heard there is something about a AVIC-N3 and AVIC-D2, but no details as to what has been improved.

I am anxiously awaiting the Z1. I've got the D1 in my other car - it's a great unit, but having bluetooth integration would be fantastic. And learning what roads I use frequently would be nice as well. For a lot of long trips, I get to the highway a different way than the unit thinks would be best, so I'm often ignoring the "Make a u-turn if possible" constantly until I get on the freeway.
I'd be interested in the differences between the D2 and Z1. I don't have much use for video in the car, so if the D2 has the other functions without video, I'd probably just save the money and get it.
