It works just as well as the matting. It is designed for those hard to reach places. Shops are strarting to apply it in the "floor boards" of the vette and it makes a dramatic difference if you also used a speaker kit in the doors. Unfortunately doing the doors and floor would add about 40lbs to the weight of the car.

Thanks for the input I didn't realize it was that much heavier. Just want to dampen my car and not sure what to use.
I wish I could hear both before deciding. Oh well thanks for the info.
