After a couple nights of this:
And making these:
I'm starting to get things together:
This car is by far the WORST car I've ever had to wire, bypassing the chimes and so forth. So far I've installed, Kicker 600.4 amp, JL XR 6.5" components up front, JL 5.25" Coaxials in the rear, Avic D1 Head unit and Nav, Pioneer XM and Navtraffic....gonna build the sub box hopefully this weekend.
I feel your pain. I'm the second owner of my C5 and the previous owner did a bangup job on the wiring. Add to that the crossovers for my D661s speakers are too big to fit in the door. I'm having to put them in the back of the car (for cleanliness reasons), and as a result, I get to run three wires the length of the car. My seats are out, my carpet is out. I hate seeing my baby like this!
thats a nice install, did you make the radio trim piece yourself?
Nope, It's a metra kit for a few GM cars, it fits the C6. Metra 95-3304?? I think. I can look it up or it's on the site somewhere. Not many places stock it, but if you call metra they put you in touch with a dealer. Mine was national audio in Baltimore city, canton to be exact.
The two ten'z should pound in your car..... JL rules...... I hooked my 3 12'z up over the weekend We just ran the wires over the top and put no tune on it or anything and it is ungodly...

We'll see, I'm trying to work out luggage space AND airspace, and still be able to keep the top in there....we'll see what happens.
