Speed compensated volume c5 SCV

Speed compensated volume c5 SCV
What would cause a 04 C5 radio not to have the speed compensated volume not work...one dealer was trying to tell me it was because I dont have the air pressure sensors in my tires which I think is a bad excuse.. Any ideas?

oh man that is funny. did he ask you if you had your pholangeo clamps tightened down on the sfitzer valves? I wish i could help you but i'm not sure. dumb question, but is the csv **** turned all the way up?

Dude that is seriously pathetic info from a dealer ... I guess maybe there is a 1/100000 chance he is right 
(I have a z06 without sensors and mine works fine) I would not take my ride back there if it were me.
Could be the **** is dirty and not making good contact .. something is not wired correctly .. .deck is not sensing it (IE broken) or something is blocking the little pick up sensor? Or like scott said it is topped out?
