You can split it if you only have one pre out, but you will half the signal going into each amp. If you are working with two amps, it would be better to keep the full range signal into amp 1, then use amp1 output into amp 2.
You can use leolufse's method if your amp has preouts. or if you can deal with the sound qaultiy loss of just using a y-rca cable.
best thing to do would be to get an external crossover/line driver like the audiocontrol 24xs. this will take one input and give you two at the correct voltage, fully crossed over.

It sounds like a 4 channel. You should be able to have all 4 channels drive from a single set of inputs. There may be a setting on the amp that you need to set, or you may need to wire input into lets say A and C. What is the make and model number, you might be able to find the owners manual on line.
