New system help?
OK, I am going to startover with a new system and get rid of my old stuff. I do not want to break the bank so I will not buy the newest of the new.
I currently have two 6x9 Infinity Kappa's in the rear and two 6.5 Infifnity Kappas in the doors with a double Din Pioneer Receiver
I tried to use the dash speakers once, but the sound was crappy.
This is what I am thinking for my 1985 C4:
Two 8" subs in the rear 6x9 pockets of my
Two 6.5" in the doors
Eclipse EA4000 4/3/2Ch Power Amplifier
Buy a New receiver, not sure about the brand, probably Alpine or Eclipse.
Any suggestions, is the two 8" subs in the rear a bad idea?

yeah, the sticky up top is pretty generic and did not answer either of my questions, you can use rear subs or not, you can use one sub or not
I also used the search function alot, mostly C5 info.
It has been a while since I bought and expensive system, Eclipse and Alpine and MB Quart used to be top shelf but now people act like they never heard of this stuff

I not sure eactly what you are askin gabout besides the subs, i'll leave that up to the c4 guys since i dont have experience with the particular setup you're talking about. as for the head unit, not sure if you were asking for suggestions or not, but I say go eclipse for the head unit and check out cdt component speakers, i have them and they sound great. hope that helps a little
