Need help with speaker setup for my Eclipse H/U
I had an Eclipse AVN installed over the summer with DVD and back-up camera, and although I love it the sound with the stock speakers is just awful.
I want to get some 10s and an amp, but I also want to scrap the stock speakers as well. Does anybody have any recommendations for stuff?

i have cdt components up front and a 12" image dynamics sub in the back and I'm very pleased with the sound...sorta... i need to tune my system a bit more but the speakers hold there own.

That is a CLEAN installation. 
Better than most Eclipse C5 installations I've seen. I just wanted to say that adding an amp should be your first order of business, and you may discover that the speakers will sound far better than you think. The only reason I say this is because after replacing the Jaguar Premium Sound in my wife's S Type with the AVN, I was really disappointed with the sound quality. I wanted to keep the stock speakers in case I wanted to switch the old HU back at some point and didn't want to buy new speakers. But once I added the amp, it made a HUGE difference in sound quality.
The only thing I would miss from the stock HU would be the auto volume adjust. Especially since I drive a vert. If Eclipse could come up with an AVN that offered that feature, I'd be all over it.
Hey! I just noticed something! The time displays on your 5435 on the nav screen! My 5495 will not display the time in nav mode, and that's always ticked me off!!
