cool thanks man i'll try it, what the hell, see what it sounds like...
BTW: i don't clearly understand why i must run power thru fuse no 22 for power...why not just use the stock 12 V signal? i know the faq says that power is removed by the PCM...any other way to fool it?

Reason: forgot info
i dont think so, i think your only option is to pull it from the footwell. its nto that much of a hassle though. i'd say skip the fuse thing and tap the wire instead (the correct wire is in the faq somewhere) htats what i did and it's really simple with one of those wiresplicer things
so is this correct-
the soundgate adapter is only useful if I plan on running the stock subs. Otherwise, it will not change the sound from the h/u to the speakers at all.
I plan on using my own amp and sub so should i be concerned with those stock subs?
are you replacing the door speakers at all? if no, then yes be concerned with the stock subs, they will provide some midbass that will be lacking if you disconnected them. if you are going to replace the entire door speaker and put in your own components then you dont need the adapter.
anyone got any experience with keeping the bose speakers, using the bose adapter through an aftermarket h/u? wondering if the sound is alright thanks
I really did not appreciate how bad the Bose speakers suck until I changed mine out (MB Quart) and you would be amazed at the difference in sound quality if/when you change them out.
