Default help with mouting sleeve
I have an alpine 9831 and I am trying to mount it, the head came out of my old totalled car. I don't have the mounting sleeve and really don't want to wait 2 weeks until it comes in. Anyone know of any solutions that would work?

make angle brackets that can screw into the frame behind the radio panel and the sides of the stereo. you may be able to reuse the brackets that hold the stock h/u in there.

the stock ones on the bose head dont come off. I am not sure how to make them, it wouldn't fit in there right either. I'll just have to find one somewhere
