Anyone have an Eclipse CD7000 headunit?

It's a pricey one, but probably the best single din headunit on the market right now. Anyone have this head unit?

Well from my limited knowledge of audio, they are the best sounding head units on the market, does that still hold true? My excelon kenwood dosen't sound too fantastic paired up to some very nice diamond M6's.

You cant beat Eclipse, IMHO, I bought my first HU back in 1993, no power just a singal device. I also had there AMPs back then too

BTW, if you can get that discount, get two,,, and I will buy the 2nd

Kewood compared to Eclipse for SQ is like comparing a camaro to a vette .. sure they both have nice hp, features, styling ... but the vette is just flat out a better car .. .same with Eclipse.

yea fej i had a eclipse head unit back in 96 and it had broke.i went to circuit city and was checking out the kenwood or alpine decks im not sure which 1 they were caring at te time and told the guy my eclipse had took a dump and i was looking for a new deck.the salesman flat out told me man i dont have anything here that can even come close to the eclipse go get it fixed instead of buying the decks i have which are more flashy than anything else.needless to say i sent it back to eclipse and they fixed it and who knew it was still under warranty which only cost me shipping to have fixed!!!

We just started carrying eclipse at circuit city. so far all of their products have been fantastic. They have given my customers the best sound for the price. I plan on ordering a CD7000 for my brother to put in his wrangler. I get 70% off eclipse since im a mobile electronics tech at circuit city. I also just installed their new avn7000 system and it is pretty bad ***. All one single din unit with a 20gig hard drive. Good stuff.
