Nav Unit in 85 C4
I really want to purchase the Pioneer Avic-D1 and according to my measurements it will fit, but A few shops have said no way. Any one have this unit or something like it in there C4?

sry for not getting back to you sooner, I found some info but not a whole lot from what I saw it looks like depth is the issue. According to what I see on paper, I havent torn into a C4 in a while

Depth is absolutely not an issue for single din units in the 85.
Assuming this nav is single din, you'll need a 1.5 to single din adapter, with centered din hole, and you'll need to remove a small tab of plastic, with a pocket knife or hack saw blade. Then you'll have more than 12" of depth.
