Car is going in on Thursday for a full system install. They are going to mount the 12" coming out of the center storage and both amps one on each side covering up my other storages . They are then going to add a beauty board to finish it up. I was on Sound Domain looking at pictures but that damn site is so slow. I wanted to see if there are any nice pics here. Nothing extravigent but clean.
Having the sub (10" or 12") in the center compartment is what most do.
You have more options when it come to placement of the amps. It all depends on what space you want to give up. I choose to give up my entire hatch.

I think I might have to as well. I have the L7 running off a Alpine 1000M and the Alpine 450 for the rest. These are big amps. I also seen a setup, with 2 amps on a beautyboard near the front of the hatch on the opposite side of the roof latches. Something I might consider if the room is there. Do you have a picture of your setup?
Teddy I have mine installed but not finished yet .. you are welcome to check it out if you want and take a listen
If you are going to go with a beauty board style set up it would probably be worth raising the top of the box an inch or two above flush floor height to get the airspace that a 12" really needs. I managed to get .764 out of my box that Marv built for me and with some polyfill (about 10 oz) seems to be working pretty well .. still needs tuning which I hope to get done today. I don't know what an L7 needs airspace wise but unless you are going fiberglass and using the entire space in the console area you will most likely struggle getting the space that you need. Mounting depth becomes as issue as well as mine is mounted flush on the top of the box and it clears by about 1/16" at the edge of the slope of the box
I am actually going to build the box up a couple inches to get all the space needed and will Have a beauty board flush with the amps. I am not sure my exact lay out simply because I have no idea how the amps are going to fit. I would loved to move the entire floor up about 2" and just remount the brackets for the top on the box. We'll see. I need some ideas. Where are you going to be around 315 today?
