I have listed some new much higher quality pictures on my webpage that show a lot more detail. Waiting on my fabricator friend to work out a vented sub box use cover (will pull the sub for autoX and when needed for cargo space and use the stock cover) and I am offf right now to reinstall the passenger seat. Borrowing a friends RTA next week for some final tuning and some serious enjoyment driving down the road
Thanks again for the kind words and help along the way guys. Will be around to help whenever I can. Any questions shoot me an email or PM will be happy to answer or audition if you are in the area.

The 3 ways definitely allow for a lot cleaner sound and a lot more volume. I have always done 2 ways in my previous systems and although it takes some more electronics or higher end amps/hu to accomplish I really think the added effort of the 3 way install is worth it.
Tonality is great and after having played around with the 7" midbass alone with just the tweet vs the 3 way set up it was night and day different. The 3 way allowed for a lot cleaner and tigher midbass and a lower crossover point to keep the midbass up front in the soundstage. In 2 way mode it would not play down below about 100hz very well. In 3 way mode it is at 63hz and sounding better than I could have hoped. I do however have to admit that the DLS Iridium dome mid is very highly regarded and certainly has a fair amount to do with the quality of sound.
Thanks

you NEED a computer in your car! and yeah; i agree, i wish i could hear your set up! but it's looking good.oh...thats an odd way to install the box, dont you think it'd look better if you put it inside the center bin?

And I wanted to show the size of the box so people could get an idea what .76cu^3 of airspace really looks like.Wanted to throw some more details out there:
All of the speaker plates have closed cell foam between them and the door panel. All of the speaker frames have either closed cell foam or an MDF baffle + foam on them.
Have dynamat extreme in and around the speaker mounts for both doors, but I promised myself I would not get out of hand with the sound deadening (being a mainly fiberglass panel anyway) so it is somewhat minimal compared to the Edead V3 I used on the entire panel. I also have a combination of Cowboy's kit + dynamat extreme in the rear center console area. The plastic trim strip that fits underneath the rear window and just above the partition (if you have one) rattled like hell. Threw some Cowboy's insulation there and the rattle is gone
So far I am rattle free.
Thanks for the kind words guys. Slowly getting some pics linked to my Corvette pics here as well to make it easier to check things out.
