Default h/u install wiring ?

which wires or fuse do I tap into so my new H/u will function like my factory one did in a 99 c5 thanks

check out the c5 faq. a quick read through will show you all the adapters and adapter plates that you will need. Its worth a read

I dont need adaptors or plates I will fab every thing myself.I just need to know if there is a harness that will work or where to tap power ground memory illumanation etc. I would like it to function as a factory unit.I read in the (faq) that the power wire would be disabled by the pcm after pulling the bose h/uI want to do this once and properly thankyou for your input

you'd need to tap off fuse 22 or the acc wire from the bundle near the fuse box (i forgot what one, but its in the faq too) as far as the other stuff, believe its still active from the stock harness. and i think that if you got a wire harness that fits gm vehicles; i think it'll work to tap of the other wires.
