Default able to play burnt cdr???

I have a 2000 navy metallic blue coupe with the stock bose system and 12 cd changer and have tried to burn some music from itunes and my ipod to a cdr and can't get any music to play from my car.... any suggestions or will the 2000 model changers just not play cdr? Any advice?

Thanks, Thomas

this problem has come up a lot, some changers let you play em some dont. some people have had luck burning the cd's at 4x or slower. try that.

yup cd-rw's are harder for a lot of the cd players and changers to read. For some reason, its mostly other computers that can read them ok. Good choice in going for just the plain cd-r's. Hopefully it works out for ya

Default Same car, same prob with some CDR's

Especially RW's. I had to turn burn rate down to 32x on my samsung burner. I just use plain R's now.

if you use windows media player, most CD players should be able to read it. make sure you're burning in standard D player format though...i mistakenly burned in mp3 format one....then found out my alpine head unit liked those too
