IPOD mounts

I'm using a special iPod docking station in the "cupholder" called a spec.dock; I won't list a link to the site since they are not a CF vendor but do a google on: '2point5' for a linky

They're a tad pricey since they are still in the prototype stage (they plan to get these to market later on this year). I couldn't wait

For me this is the ideal solution for an iPod mount: ability to use some form of docking station (no cables or connectors to mess with) AND stealth (when the cupholder lid is closed, everything looks stock.
The ProClip mount is another great solution but you end up with a telltale sign of a "mod", something that I didn't want...
But ProClip is probably the best solution if you want an actual mount, google 'ProClip Car Mounts'

mine is simalar to above only we moulded the cupholder part out and made it all solid. my mount is a home av cradle wireed to my D1 so i can watch slide shows or movies from my video ipod in my screen.

depends on how well you work with bondo, resin, and fiberglass.
it took the guy a while to do mine, but he sprayed it 4 times to try and get the texture perfect. it would probably be much easier to go smooth and paint it body color or black.
