is there such a thing as plug in speakers which dont require any wiring just a switch of the old and new, because when it comes stereos i dont know anything
You can replace the stock 3.5" twiddlers in the bose system with a drop in 3.5" mid/tweet combo speaker from Infinity or JBL ( I think) or Alpine (I think). You can also replace the rear speakers with 5.25" speakers or 6.5" speakers without changing anything. Just plug and play stuff. Worth it on the front 3.5's IMO.
If you want to do more it involves adaptors and amps and $$$
i just did this last night, I cut the stock plug off of the stock bose speaker and soldered it onto the new speakers and then plugged them back up and put everything back together. Whether or not there is an easier plug and play setup I don't know but this was very easy. Hope that helps.

Did you get any noticable improvement from your upgrades?

Can you review what exactly you removed and replaced please?

I changed the front 3.5 with infinity and the rear with Alpine a few weeks ago. I'm glad I made switch the improvement is very noticeable. Cost me $120 for the entire setup from crutchfield.
You will have to clip the wires and add some type of connector, possibly, and strip the wires. Very easy to do; takes about 35 seconds / wire. Can you do that?
It cannot be done with the self-powered subs, though.
Yes, unless you unclip the bottom of the door panel without removing the whole thing and unbend the taps that hold the bose grill in place. Would not recommend that route.
Check out www.vetteessentials.com for the removing the door panel guide. Really not hard once you know what steps to do it in. Need a couple torx bits to do it as well.
