The guy i just purchased my amp from has a 'sound splinter' sub. he says the thing is awesome but this is the first i've heard of them. it looks damn impressive though:

Would not bet a lot of money, but would make a small wager that ID is making those for them, had some "overrun" woofers on ebay from ID recently that looked VERY similar to those. Look kinda interesting though.

I've heard of them, I think they are mostly used for home theaters and such, giving really high quality bass, and they also take a larger box (the big ones) to sound the best, not really a vette quality.
