I would like to replace the bose head unit in my '88. I don't need real loud, just good quality sound at moderate levels. My plan is to just replace the head unit with an Alpine CD receiver and us the PD-4 interface from Audiolink and use the original bose speakers and amp. Has anyone done something close to this before? How is the sound quality? Is the installation difficult? I have had the bose head unit out before (pretty easy), seems like it would be an easy job to do. All your thoughts are welcome. Thanks
