The thumping is bypassed!
A while ago I posted on the thumping in my radio that made it unbearable to listen to xm.Well,an fm modulator that bypasses the antenna signal,or switches it or something was installed and the issue is resolved as far as the SATTELITE RADIO is concerned,but not the stock radio (bose).So,it is in fact a factory radio issue!!Maybe the bad idea of an antenna in the window has alot to do with it.I have NEVER had a good experience with window mounted antennas!!!

Sorry your having bad luck with the sindow antenna. Ive had good luck with it in all my previous cars. I think that fm modulators may be the real problems. Ive never had luck with those. Hope you get your figured out. From what I hear the window antennas are amplified, so that may be part of the problem that you are getting interference from a power source that is powered.
