No disrespect intended, but doesn't $250 seem a little ambitious for a stock HU? I have no idea what they sell for, honestly, because I've never been in the market for one, but it just strikes me as a little high. Good luck getting your price though. I guess it's all a matter of supply and demand.
I figured I would get some of that from this forum. I just thought that maybe there may be some of the same buyers that buy on eBay here as well. I know that the forum has a certain amount of disdain for eBay but market prices can be fairly assessed by looking at completed sales. I watched one that closed at 455.00 with 36 bids. (#8052373584) Admittedly that's an odd ball. There are some that are lower as well. The average by my research was in the 200-250 range before shipping. Getting a deal done here would be faster and simpler and potentially better for a buyer who may feel better by buying from this community of people.
Facts are facts and one thing is clear and I have learned my lesson. Rarely will anything that is higher priced ever sell for market value here. It must be either super rare, or in super high demand. Otherwise everyday stuff over 100 bucks won't find a willing buyer here. Is it because the forum members are more educated? Maybe. But when you are a seller, you want to get the most money for your items. My experience has served me much, much better in the past by just listing the item on eBay. I hesitated before I listed, but I thought maybe, just maybe ... I could save a little time, and pass the savings along.
I also thought that with the recent sticky that warned against posts that criticize prices, that those who felt it was too high, could just scoff at their screens on their own time.
Since you were so kind to add the disclaimer that you really didn't know what you were talking about when it came to price on this item, I'd like to thank you for sharing that experience for the benefit of the other forum members Thank you also for your input into the potential positive outcome of my listing.

Well, when I said good luck, I meant it. Like I said, I really have no idea what a HU would be worth, but if you're looking for top dollar, I agree that eBay is probably your best bet. Nice of you to offer it here first, though. Again, I wasn't knocking your price at all, man. It may be a heck of a deal for all I know.
definitly very nice of you to offer the HU here. Unless someone is looking to return the system to stock. There isnt much of a demand here. I burned out the lights on my HU and if I was selling the car, I probably would have made you an offer on the deck. But since I plan on keeping the car for a while, I went with an aftermarket deck for a couple bucks more that has so many more features. Like you said, no harm in tryin and offering the deck here first. I can see that if anyone did need it, it would have been snagged up right away. Try the for sale section after here. You may get a bite there as not too many people are here in the audio section. Good luck on the sale and ebay may be the place to go if it doesnt sell here.
